I think of these as small bracelets because they are only a few beads deep, perhaps max 8.  I prefer working even numbers as its a lot faster than an uneven number.  They run fast and as such are a pleasure to make.  Up until recently I was coming up with a lot of multi-coloured work, but these past few months I have also found a lot of pleasure getting great texture into a single colour piece.
